Section 01

What This Warranty
Covers.

Team Platinum Coating Inc. ("Platinum Coating Epoxy," "we," "us") warrants that the epoxy or polyaspartic floor coating system we install will be free from the following defects for the applicable warranty period, beginning on the date of completed installation:

Delamination — the coating separating or lifting from the properly prepared concrete substrate.
Peeling or flaking — sections of the coating coming loose under normal use.
Adhesion failure — the coating failing to bond to the concrete surface when our surface preparation standards have been followed.
Hot tire pickup — the coating lifting or pulling away due to contact with hot vehicle tires under normal residential driving conditions.
Excessive yellowing (polyaspartic systems only) — significant discolouration or yellowing of the clear topcoat caused by UV exposure in residential garage applications.

This warranty covers both the cost of materials and labour required to repair or re-coat the affected area at no charge to the original purchaser, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Section 02

Does Not Cover.

Pre-existing concrete defects, including spalling, scaling, or deteriorating surfaces.
Flooding, fire, earthquake, or any other natural disaster or act of God.

Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs by third parties.
Normal wear patterns in high-traffic areas over the life of the coating.
Section 03

Warranty
Conditions.

To maintain your warranty coverage, the following conditions must be met:

Original purchaser only. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, unless a transfer is requested in writing and approved by Platinum Coating Epoxy prior to the sale of the property.
Proper care and maintenance. The coated floor must be maintained per our care instructions — regular cleaning with a soft mop or broom, prompt removal of chemical spills, and avoidance of abrasive products.
Moisture testing. If pre-installation moisture testing reveals elevated levels and a mitigation system is recommended but declined, any subsequent moisture-related coating failure is excluded. Test results are documented and kept on file.
No unauthorized repairs. Any repair, re-coat, or modification by anyone other than Platinum Coating Epoxy or its authorized representatives will void this warranty.
Reasonable access. The customer must provide reasonable access to the coated area for inspection and warranty repairs.
Section 04
